New “Milk Stacks” residential development planned for the Milk District

Plans have been submitted for a new 27-unit multi-family development to be built in the Milk District at the 211 S. Bumby Avenue block, just north of Lake Como and the 408.

The 1.34-acre apartment project is being led by Orlando-based developer Adam Wonus, a partner in Atrium Management Company, and it is currently being called the “Milk Stacks.” The plans call for a new three-story multifamily building and the renovation of a 10,000 SF office building that is currently located at 201 S. Bumby Avenue [GMap].

The name is a nod to architectural features, depicted in the above rendering, that mimic large milk tankers, and the district’s namesake, T.G. Lee dairy just up the street.

The project is currently scheduled to be reviewed by the Municipal Planning Board on Tuesday, December 21 at 8:30 a.m.
