Being Memorable: Troy Morrissey

Being Memorable: Troy Morrissey

Atrium's marketing team has doubled in the past year with addition of Troy Morrissey. Like most people in Florida, Troy's not native to Florida. He's originally from Oneonta, New York (shoutout to all the Oneontans out there!).

Troy earned his Associate's Degree in New Media from Finger Lakes Community College and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Media Studies from The State University of New York (SUNY) at Oneonta. From there he began freelancing as a media producer and also worked as a social media manager, video crew intern, and vaccine coordinator during the pandemic. He's truly a multifaceted and multitalented individual.

Troy eventually made his way to Florida, as many New Yorkers eventually do. It was during a Milk District cleanup for which he volunteered his time and videography skills that he met some people from Atrium, also known as Atriumans. Atriumtonians? Anyway the people from Atrium really liked Troy and before long he had joined the company to serve as a video guy who wears lots and lots of other hats. Which is one of the things that makes him so memorable.

When he's not working on groundbreaking video projects for Atrium and our property owners, Troy enjoys cheering on the Solar Bears, exploring the fine eats and drinks Orlando has to offer, and maintaining a rigorous gym routine (he can lift a small school bus off the ground, probably). If you ask him about books, he'll tell you to check out Creativity by John Cleese, Allegory of the Cave by Plato, and Contagious by Jonah Berger. If you ask him about television, he'll recommend Invincible on Amazon Prime and anything/everything Spider-Man-related. And if you ask him about anything else, he probably has a story to tell that'll be worth your time.

When he's not working or doing the leisure/social things, Troy's deeply invested in and committed to community service. He's actively involved with both the Milk District's and SoDo's Board and EV committee and can be found at most events held by either group. Atrium is lucky to have Troy and all the experience and enthusiasm he brings to all he does.

If you know someone who'd be a good fit at Atrium like Troy has been, checkout our current openings on our Careers page or just email us at info@atriummanagement.com
